Low self-esteem is a negative evaluation of oneself.

Sexual Abuse/ Assault
Sexual abuse/assault is a personal and destructive crime and refers to any action that pressures or coerces someone to do something sexually they don’t want to do.
Its effects on you and your loved ones can be psychological, emotional, and/or physical. The assault can be brief in duration or last a very long time, but it is important to remember that there is not one “normal” reaction to sexual abuse/assault.
Many people experience feelings of fear, guilt, anger, shame, worthlessness, embarrassment, and/or shock.

Comfort or Emotional eating is using food to make yourself feel better. Eating to satisfy emotional needs.
Emotional eating provides a release from discomfort, providing a momentary sense of pleasure and satisfaction when you’re feeling something you don’t want to feel.
Overeating has a numbing, softening effect on our unwanted sentiments, and takes our attention away from them. The emotional cravings are often for high-calorie or high-carbohydrate foods that have minimal nutritional value.
Hating your body is one of the biggest factors in emotional eating, the blame and shame is a repeating cycle.
This is an unhealthy cycle, and with treatment, you can learn why some foods became your comfort foods and how to sever that association.
You may be questioning your sexual identity, experiencing internalised or externalised homophobia, struggling with the norms in your community of choice, or deciding whether to come out to your family or friends.

Codependency means putting aside your own needs in order to try and meet the needs of another person.
Codependency often develops from dysfunctional patterns of living and problem-solving during childhood; which can restrict the free and healthy development of people’s self-esteem and coping.
As adults, codependent people have a greater tendency to get involved in “toxic relationships”, in other words, with people who are perhaps unreliable, emotionally unavailable, or needy.
The codependent person tries to provide and control everything within the relationship (this could be with a friend, family member, or significant other) without addressing their own needs or desires.
